A particularly exciting development is Isabel Marant's latest collaboration with Converse. This partnership brings together Marant's signature style and Converse's iconic Chuck Taylor trainers. The collection features both new and classic silhouettes that reflect Isabel Marant's signature Parisian charm. The well-known Converse aesthetic is combined with Marant's design philosophy of ‘effortless elegance’.
A highlight of the collection is the new Chuck 70 Wedge, which features a hidden 2.5-inch wedge design that picks up on the sneaker trend of the 2010s, which Marant was instrumental in shaping. In addition to the wedge design, there are also new interpretations of the classic Chuck 70 hi-top and low-top models, which feature sophisticated details such as fringed jacquard fabric and coloured laces. The collection will be available in Isabel Marant stores and online from 11 September 2024.
