Sneakersnstuff, commonly known as SNS, was founded by Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jannson in 1999. The friends started the company out of their love of sneakers, fashion and much more. Both of them had been in the footwear community since childhood; Erik was a basketball lover, whereas Peter was fond of hip-hop that hit Europe in the 80s.

The founders both used to work professionally in the footwear industry, which has helped them create one of the most iconic brands of all time. They were close and knew each other's strengths, which allowed them to grow and find creative ideas. Anything they did showed their creativity, from opening a bar to collaborating with brands.

New Balance has been the brand that the co-founders loved when growing up. And one of the earliest brands that held hands with SNS in 1999. To date, both parties have created more than 17 collaborations.

The Balance 577 is a shoe older than SNS itself and has helped spark the love for sneakers for a lot of people, including the founders. Undoubtedly, the shoe holds a special place in the hearts of everyone and has shaped the base for NB.

Every kid who once loved the shoe has now become an adult. And now was the time to give it a throwback. Thus, SNS was called on board to make a shoe for the adults that were once kids. In addition, the team that worked on building this shoe had also grown up with SNS, giving them a better sight of what this shoe meant.

The company knows adults need cushioning and comfort. Therefore the rebirth NB 577KS comes with an ENCAP midsole and durable XAR-1000 rubber outsole. As for the styling, it takes hints from the previous collabs and results in a suede upper, leather tongue and a TPU heel stabiliser. 

SNS's 20th anniversary was made special with the collaboration with adidas. The German footwear giants were one of the dream collaborations for SNS, and they went ahead with it.

The two shoes that shaped the collaboration have to be the Sunrise and Sunset version of the ZX4000. As the name suggests, these shoes are made for you to look fabulous during the day and shine at night.

They have elements of sun rays to create a glow and darkness to imitate the night. The shoe is made of Primeknit with suede overlays. Moreover, the 4D midsole is digitally printed with light, oxygen and liquid resin. 

As for the branding, a debossed SNS logo can be seen on the side panels and mirrored on the left tongue tag.
