Star Wars | May the Force Be With You
Star Wars has to be a household name for being the most epic and iconic movie franchise of all time. The movie franchise has evolved into a multi-media franchise created by George Lucas. It had a humble start with the first movie released in 1977 and depicts the characters in a galaxy long time ago.
Since then, the movie has expanded to various ventures, including films, TV series, games, comic books, etc. The unique selling point of the media franchise is its adaptation. Be it any theme park or shoe collection, Star Wars likes to take things to the next level.
Despite being around for more than 40 years, the media franchise has stayed relevant thanks to many factors. One of them is creating unique and over-the-top shoes with brands like Nike, adidas and many others.
Star Wars x adidas
The German footwear brand and the movie franchise’s collaboration date back to 2010, when both giants came together to create something unique. Since then, the designs have taken inspiration from X-Wings, Skywalker, Yoda and others to make some fantastic shoes. The collection is loved by movie fanatics and adored by sneakerheads.
adidas Top Ten Hi Boba Fett
As for many other collaborations, the shoe is based on a character and his appearance. Boba Fett’s armour plays a vital role in deciding the vibe of the shoe and giving it a distinctive look. It has an upper part with rips and tears with red detailing to depict his armour.
It has a print on the sock liner with a pocket, with the iconic line of Fett written, which is attached to the ankle. Other details like printed tab references and custom Star Wars laces make the shoe more likeable. Moreover, the custom packaging enhances the user experience.
adidas Luke Skywalker
One of the most striking shoes of the collaboration has to be the Hi-Top Luke Skywalker in bright orange colour. The orange canvas depicts the character’s suit with bears of white and black accents as details.
It has a matching tongue, and his name is present alongside the iconic three stripes. Like many other shoes in the collection, the best part must be the unboxing experience.
C-3PO has to be one of the most bizarre characters on the show and therefore deserved a shoe of his own. The character is known for its gold colour and the fuss he creates with R2-D2.
The character has been recreated in various sneakers, including the adidas C-3PO. It is bright gold with a glossy shine that attracts eyeballs from miles away. Moreover, the white laces and the semi-translucent gold sole only improve things.
As for the branding, it has a tongue with a C-3PO image and a heel with his famous lines bringing back memories.
