Matthew M. Williams is an influential American fashion designer known for his innovative approach to design and his ability to fuse haute couture with streetwear. Williams founded the label Alyx in 2015, which was later renamed 1017 ALYX 9SM, a tribute to his daughter, the label's founding date and his creative studio in New York City.
