LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 Black

The last sneaker from the adidas A-ZX series will be released soon, and with it, the successful series of retro sneakers will end. Along for the ride were great partners who kept bringing the collection to new heights, and one of them was definitely LEGO with the totally crazy LEGO x ZX 8000 on September 25th, 2020. But this shouldn't be the last collaboration, as the two partners have confirmed more sneakers throughout the year, as well as a big capsule with a total of six colourful ZX 8000s.

adidas and LEGO are breaking down the first sneaker into its component parts and completely rebuilding the model with other bricks. The construction still resembles the OG from 2020, but the colours have changed.

For this new capsule, adidas has taken inspiration from LEGO's basic colours. The lace locks, eyelets, and other signature details have been modified to perfectly mimic a LEGO brick. This bumpy version with a black colour scheme is reminiscent of a dark LEGO brick, in particular.
