Union Berlin x adidas ZX 8000 Release Info
It's no secret that adidas has always maintained a strong connection to football. The connection to the sport goes back to the origins of adidas in 1949, when founder Adolf "Adi" Dassler presented the first football shoe. Since that day, adidas has continued to evolve and offer sportswear for almost every sport, with football being one of the most important one.
In April, adidas unveiled its latest project with its newest partner club, 1. FC Union Berlin. Together, they celebrate the 55th anniversary of the football club with a collaborative ZX 8000. The sneakers feature the signature red and yellow hits, as well as large "UNION" lettering on the heels. Lastly, special lace locks complete the overall design.
