DMX stands for Dynamic Motion X
The Reebok DMX, which was first introduced in the late 1990s, is an iconic shoe series from sportswear manufacturer Reebok. The outstanding feature of the trainers is the DMX running technology, which provides innovative cushioning. DMX stands for "Dynamic Motion X" and enables effective air circulation between the different air chambers of the sole. This design not only offers responsive cushioning, but also optimum support and comfort.
Mountain Research designs a Reebok DMX Trail Shadow
The DMX Trail Shadow "Pure Grey" is the third sneaker release of 2020 after the wheat-coloured DMX Trail Shadow and the airy Alien Stomper. This time, Mountain Research has taken inspiration from the East Coast college style of the 80s and created a simple and minimalist design with technical details. The grey plastic midfoot cages are inspired by crampons, while the soft grey suede upper features perfectly placed perforations and fabric eyelets. And of course, the white Mountain Research graphic on the tongue adds an extra touch of cool.
If you look at the inner lining of the tongue, you can see MR's signature "civil disobedience anarchists mountaineers saunterers + punks". The heels feature a black "Holiday in the Mountains" graphic logo. The thick white foam midsoles are equipped with wavy white TPU plates that provide responsive cushioning - a technology called DMX Shear. Finally, thick serrated grey rubber outsoles complete the look.
