The popular Japanese manga and anime television series Naruto has been around since 1999 and has continued to make waves in contemporary culture. Just when we thought we'd seen it all, a new collaboration has surfaced: Naruto x ASICS GEL-NYC. Yes, you read that right. Fans of the series can now show their love for Naruto with the popular ASICS silhouette on their feet.
The Naruto x ASICS GEL-NYC is mostly black, but is complemented by accents in Naruto's signature orange and fuchsia. In addition to the ASICS side logo in white, there is a special accent in the form of a lace lock with Naruto's scroll. On the dubrae is the leaf village logo and on the tongue Naruto's personal crest and the special edition comes in a specially made box. The new Naruto x ASICS GEL-NYC sneakers will be released at Courir on December 11th.
