The mayor of New York was happy to announce a few days ago that 9 August is now the official RUN-DMC day. To honour the achievements of the legendary hip-hop crew, a small pop-up event was also organised by adidas Originals. The event will celebrate the artists' continued success and their collaboration with adidas.
Rupert Campbell, President of adidas North America, highlighted the deep connection between adidas and hip-hop culture. He is also incredibly proud that the superstar will always be associated with RUN-DMC and that they can benefit from their authentic creativity. On 12 August, the pop-up event will take place at Bleecker Trading Shop in New York City, where you can feel the legacy of RUN-DMC and their influence on the hip-hop scene.
