This edition was released exclusively by J.Crew in September 2021. Apparently, the version is now intended for other stores, because other retailers like atmos are following suit. This New Balance 2002R is made of premium leather, with subtle hits on the heels and branding taking the lead.
The rest of the shoe comes with a muted colourway with various orange and coffee suede overlays. Blue N logos are used on the sides, and purple stacks up the back of the New Balance 2002R. Lastly, an NERGY and ABZORB sole at the bottom complete the modern sneaker.
