First Look: Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" 2020 Retro

The first Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" was released in 2006. Now, Jordan Brand wants to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the AJ4 with a new iteration of the "Black Cat". And, after the first leaks have appeared, the official pictures will soon follow.

This "old" sneaker wears an all-over black colourway. Every part is done in black and consists mostly of a premium nubuck leather. Furthermore, Jordan Brand includes many inserts that remind of the original. The mesh on the side panels has not changed either.

The only contrasting colours are the Light Graphite Jumpman on the tongue and the white Jumpman on the outsole.

In the USA, Nike has set January 22nd for the Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" 2020 release. Unfortunately, the release info in this country is still missing. Of course, we’ll stay on it and keep you up to date.

There are new updates to the anticipated Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" Retro 2020. As it turns out, Eastbay from the USA has the new AJ4 in their release calendar. According to the retailer,  the sneakers will drop on January 25th. If the rumours are true, this next iteration drops one month earlier than originally expected.

But, the shops in this country have not confirmed anything yet. We'll stay tuned to bring you more updates as they come in.

The Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" is one of the most anticipated Jordan releases the sneaker world has seen. The "Black Cat" is actually an inspiration from Michael Jordan's nickname and one of the most elegant iterations from the Air Jordan 4 line.

Rumour has it that the sneakers may very well drop again in early 2020. Thanks to insiders, fans can already see the possible design a few months beforehand. If the leaks are right, then the sneakers come with a predominantly black upper.

The entire construction as well as the rest of the details should not change that much at all and still be strongly based on the original. Nubuck overlays as well as the characteristic and shiny eyelets are definitely reminiscent of the 2006 model. Other special details include monochromatic tongues with a grey Jumpman and also the metallic Jumpman on the heel for a distinctly elaborate iteration.
