The new year is off to a particularly good start for Jordan Brand. And, the Jumpman wants to show this with a very special colourway. The middle 1 Jordan is already being reissued almost weekly. Its iconic shape is an offshoot of the High OG, which is most celebrated by the sneaker community.

Nevertheless, many mids make it to the top of Jordan Brand's releases. Some colourways are especially popular among sneakerheads. If the colourways are even combined with more unique colours, they simply go through the roof.

Collabs with designers and creative minds are more and more often realized in the Air Jordan 1 Mid. One of these new collabs for the NBA All-Star weekend is the "Unite" by Sheila Rashid. And, what a great contribution it is! Because of the intense colour-blocking on the shoe, you can see the uniqueness of the model itself.

The collab is clearly divided into two parts, both in material and colour, and paints the front areas with a purple tumbled leather. The back area goes into a deep grey. Suede overlays reflect a rough side, while a cushioned grey midsole and semi-transparent outsole complete the overall design.

The shoe also features an allusion to the collaboration between Jordan Brand and Sheila Rashid. A Jordan Brand UNITE graphic can be seen on the right insole. On the left side, the designer from Chicago immortalizes herself with her logo.
