Air Jordan 5 Celebrates its 30th Anniversary with Three New Colourways
The first ever Air Jordan 5 was released in 1990, and the design certainly knocked them all down! Master designer Tinker Hatfield was responsible for such incredible sneakers, being inspired by fighter planes from the Second World War. The shark teeth on the midsole are reminiscent of the Mustang Fighter Jet. After that, there had never really been a long break for the Air Jordan 5.
The new iteration of the Air Jordan 5 combines a number of colours and will be released on on the shoe’s 30th anniversary. Dubbed the "Top 3”, this Jordan has the colours "Fire Red", "Grape”, and "Black Metallic”—an Air Jordan 5 that has never seen such colours before! For this reason alone, it already belongs to all sneakerheads’ must-cop list.
Will the Air Jordan 5 "Top 3" reach a new milestone with this wild colour combination?
