The Air Jordan 6 "Carmine" Could Drop in 2021

Update 14.12.2020

After half a year, there is finally news on the presumed return of the Air Jordan 6 "Carmine". Nike SNKRS has confirmed the release for February 2021.

The revival is as close to the original as possible. A smooth white leather interrupts the red panels on the bottom with increased perforations. In between, red nylon patches with Jumpman branding cover the clean tongue, while white/transparent outsoles are combined with red insignia.

Update 02.06.2020

We have a short and important update on the Air Jordan 6 "Carmine". The new/old colourway might finally have a release date now. After Jordan Brand has released some OGs as well as modernized colourways, we might just get another classic in the first months of 2021. The "Carmine" is supposed to drop on February 20, 2021 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the AJ6.

Original article 25.02.2020

The Nike Air Max 90 will be turning an incredible 30 years old this year. Nike often celebrates such special occasions with equally special drops. So, we assume that Nike still has some releases up its sleeve that will definitely surprise all of us this year.

But, this is not the only anniversary we are celebrating. The Air Jordan 6 will also turn 30 years old in 2021. And, we especially remember one particular colourway quite well. The "Carmine" from 1991 was the first colourway whose sides were coloured red. This was followed by re-releases in 2008 and 2014.

Since Jordan Brand will probably be celebrating this event as well, we could assume that the preparations are already in progress. It is quite possible that the Air Jordan 6 "Carmine" will be re-released in 2021. The 2021 version should drop with the same vibes as the 1991 OG, with red/white inserts covering the upper and black hits providing the necessary contrast. Furthermore, typical Nike Air brandings should be visible on the heels.

Do not miss the release of the Air Jordan 6 "Carmine" (2021).

The sneakers are probably going to be limited again. Besides Nike, other retailers could also get the sneakers. We will keep you up to date.

In other news, you will find pictures of a possible Air Jordan 7 "Hare".
