Mexican Boxing Inspiration in the Nike SB Dunk High by Paul Rodriguez

There are many great and famous skateboarders. One of them is the Mexican-US-American skateboarder Paul Rodriguez. The 35-year-old is often associated with Nike SB. This time, the young skateboarder is releasing a Nike SB Dunk High with a Mexican "boxinspiration".

Rodriguez has been sponsored by Nike for 15 years. He earns his living by skating. But, if this career hadn't worked out from the beginning, he would have been a Mexican boxer for sure. At least you could easily tell when you see these boxing-inspired sneakers.

These high sneakers come with a white leather upper, which offers a clean look that ultimately catches the eye. This same clean base has special features that are immediately noticeable. This is because of the Mexican colours that are represented with the red and green accents. Most of the pieces show a red outline, while the green Swoosh covers the midfoot.

The modified tongue and the unique lace lock make the sneakers worth seeing. The tongue accentuates the sneakers with a black/gold colourway while the lace lock comes in the form of a master title belt. The design is completed by the white midsole and an outsole inspired by the Mexican flag.

These sneakers are guaranteed to reach some fans. They are expected to come out this month. Insiders say the Paul Rodriguez x Nike SB Dunk High will drop on January 18th.
