Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature - Sport with Sustainable Shoes

On the streets, Nike has already proven that sustainable shoes can also look good. But the gap in the sports sector remains open — until now! This week, the sporting goods manufacturer from Beaverton has presented the Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature, which is designed for performance. We show you here what the new silhouette looks like and the materials it is made of.

The new Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature is made of at least 50% recycled materials and thus underlines Nike's activity for environmentally friendly performance shoes. Specifically, the running shoe uses 100% recycled Flyknit yarns for the upper materials, which are mixed with water bottle chips to form a material that is 70% recycled polyester and 30% excess yarn.

The comfortable midsole also offers a sustainable approach. A soft Nike ZoomX material is partly made of recycled foam waste. But not only is the construction impressive, but the first colourway can also be seen. The background is kept very neutral, but the accents in blue and red make the design pop.

Don't Miss the Release of the Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature

The Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature will be released sometime in 2022. Unfortunately, no release date has been set yet, but the shoes will presumably be released at nike.com first.
