Nike Releases a "Zine" pack and Launches Air Force 1

Sneakers inspired by a magazine? Only Nike is capable of pulling off something as outrageous as that! Beaverton's next release is an Air Force 1 inspired by indie magazines. This new Air Force 1 is going to be part of a larger "Zine" pack. From what we know, the term “zine” is actually derived from “fanzine”—a magazine made by fans for just for fans.

The base comes with a patchwork design on the sides and a denim pattern on the underlays. The mudguard is wrapped in leather and done in a light lavender colour. On the back we see a sketch-like drawing paired with a grid pattern and a transparent Crimson Swoosh. Both the toe cap and Nike patch on the tongue also have a grey denim pattern.

As mentioned, these new sneakers are only part of a larger “Zine” pack. We can only wait in anticipation for the rest of the collection, but for now, the Air Force 1 will be released this coming September 1st on Nike.com and will be available worldwide.
