In addition to the classic colourway, a grey sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 will also be released. Insiders have shared the first images. The sneakers also have the double details you can find on the sides and inside. In addition, the base is made of a light grey material, and the overlays are made of suede.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Nike Cortez, the sporting goods manufacturer and sacai will release several special versions of the classic. The full scope is not yet known, but you will find the updates here. Until then, check out the latest images.

After the first leaks last month, sacai has officially confirmed its collaboration with Nike and the Cortez. Two colourways have already been added to the Men's Fall and Winter Lookbook 2022. Check out the first images below, and assume a drop in the next few months.

Nike's heritage is so extensive that every year, there are several silhouettes that celebrate an important anniversary. Next year, it's one of the most important models of all. That's because the Nike Cortez is actually celebrating its 50th birthday in 2022.

The Cortez was developed by Nike co-founders Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight and originally came out as a track and field shoe for the 1972 Olympics. Since then, the Cortez has reached a number of milestones and was the most sought-after model from Nike for a while.

So, for the next year, we can look forward to quite a few releases and restocks of this history-making silhouette.

The first big collab has now been confirmed. sacai will be one of the collaboration partners in 2022.
