A New Nike Facility Opens at the Barack Obama Presidential Center

Nike has announced today that a new sports center will soon open at the Barack Obama Presidential Center. The Nike Foundation is providing a grant of $5 million to help build the Barack Obama Presidential Center.

The new sports center will be open to all and offer a variety of activities. Sportsmen and women can, for example, take a dance class or simply play basketball. President Obama said at the unveiling of his plans for the center, "It wouldn't be the Obama Presidential Center without a place to play ball."

The building itself will later take over Jackson Park in Chicago. In addition to the Nike Sports Center, there will also be a museum, a forum for public gatherings, and a library, which is being built in cooperation with the Chicago Public Library. In addition, a large playground and new gardens with paths for jogging will be built.

If the Barack Obama Presidential Center plans were to push through, then it will certainly open its doors to a lot of people this year or in 2021.
