adidas Tennis Stycon—Sportsneakers Without Lacing

It’s time for adidas to further expand its tennis range. With the new adidas Tennis Stycon, Herzogenaurach is launching a new sports shoe that some may have just been waiting for. Not only do the sneakers guarantee optimum support and perfect fit, but they also fit without the usual laces.

With this futuristic sports shoe, adidas goes one step further and appeals to the pioneers and players who like it "different". This is simply a possible tennis shoe that could very well herald the next generation.

In addition, the sneakers have an abrasion-resistant Adituff insert in the toe area that supports and protects lateral movements as well as a sturdy Adiwear outsole that harmonizes with the Bounce midsole. The triumph of having a comfortable wearing experience is thus readily available at your disposal.

adidas removes the laces specifically for an entirely new connection between foot and sneaker. Due to the sock-like construction, you will certainly achieve that tight fit. Furthermore, it is supposed to increase comfort and revolutionize the overall design.

Stanislav Goussev, Footwear Design Director at adidas Tennis, explains: "adidas has always been a leader in tennis shoe innovation. We have developed iconic styles that offer both style and performance, and we are excited to bring our latest symbol, the Stycon, to market. We know from working with athletes and feedback that the key elements of a tennis shoe are comfort, stability and durability."

In total, adidas has already released four new colourways: two colourways for each gender. Even though these sneakers were made for tennis, we think they could still look great on the streets.
