The adidas LXCON is not a completely new silhouette. Although some changes have been made, the adidas LXCON first appeared in 1994 and was way ahead of its time. At that time the sneaker was called adidas Lexicon Adiprene, today LXCON, but it is pronounced like "lexicon". The new design, however, is very close to the original model, but looks more brute, or rather even more futuristic than the Lxcon model in 1994. The classic running aesthetic was retained from the original model, as it was able to establish itself strongly.

A very special feature of the LXON is the plastic piping, which was already seen on the 1994 model. This extends over the forefoot to the heel, where it ends like a pulltab. In addition, the heel offers optimal support and a perfect step-in. The indispensable adidas stripes have been given a slightly thicker design in the adidas LXCON. The zigzag stitching gives the model an aggressive but casual touch. The sneaker also features a monosock instead of the typical tongue, which is very practical and carries the adidas branding.

Of course, the chunky trend can't be missing either and is perfectly highlighted by the adiPRENE midsole that gets higher towards the back. The adidas LXCON also received a practical update in terms of materials and thanks to the breathable Knit upper, the shoe has become an ultra lightweight that is barely noticeable on the foot. This makes the shoe an optimal summer sneaker that offers a soft running feel and optimal wearing comfort.
