AIR - Courting a Legend: The Film about Nike and Michael Jordan

Another documentary about Michael Jordan? No! "AIR - Courting a Legend", which will be released in cinemas this year, is about Nike and the creation of the Air Jordan brand. A short summary of the story and the characters can be found here.

"AIR" looks like it’s set to be the film of the year for sneaker fans. Written in 2021, directed by Ben Affleck and starring Matt Damon, AIR will tell the story of how Michael Jordan got his signature sneaker from Nike at the height of his NBA career. Other roles will also be played by Chris Tucker, Marlon Wayans, Jason Bateman, Viola Davis, and Chris Messina.

Set to hit cinemas on April 5th, 2023, "AIR" could be the biggest cinematic event of all time for all sneakerheads, giving them a much needed insight into one of their biggest icons. The film has great potential and is sure to go down in the history of Hollywood and beyond.
