Nike Closes More Stores
Yes, the subject of the "coronavirus" will probably continue for quite a long time and won't pass away so quickly. Most people are probably unaware of such a global pandemic and are thus poorly prepared. Many companies and brands have already taken some temporary measures to counteract the spread of COVID-19.
Now Nike has also officially made a statement on this story, protecting and supporting employees and consumers. On March 16th stores will be closed in several countries around the world, including Western Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. However, customers will still be able to shop online at Nike.com and the Nike app until the stores reopen on March 27th.
In addition, Nike is protecting its employees by enabling them to work from home, setting up staggered work schedules and initiating security and cleaning procedures. Stores that are still open in South Korea, Japan, most of China, and other countries, will remain open and continue to operate normally.
