Nike Space Hippie 01 Trash Transformed

Nike has been dealing with trash for many years now and this is not meant in a negative sense at all. The brand with the Swoosh in fact bears such a big responsibility to the environment. They produce hundreds of thousands of products every year and are thus also responsible for high CO2 emissions.

To reduce emissions in the future, the brand has now introduced a new line. The Space Hippie line is filled with four different silhouettes and consists mainly of trash. Yes, you read that right. And the interesting thing about the sneakers is that the shoes look surprisingly good.

Absolutely every sneaker from the line is unique and looks very interesting. Nike uses 85-90% recycled Nike ZoomX foam and crater foam for each version. Also, four silhouettes appear at the beginning, which are very neutral in colour.

The shoes have a knit upper as well as different shades of grey that slowly appear lighter towards the top. The Space Hippie 01 stands out with its grey upper and bluish sole. The Crimson Swoosh gives the sneakers another crazy feature, while brown laces and black eyelets round off the overall design.
