What You Should Know About the Nike Adapt BB 2.0
As soon as the first leaks are out, Nike is already taking some pictures of the new Nike Adapt BB 2.0. The first Adapt BB not only inspired sneakerheads, but also athletes. The feeling of slipping into the sneakers and pressing just one button fascinates even the pros.
That one day shoes would be able to tie themselves up on their own could have only been dreamed up by a select few. But, the sound of the engine in the Adapt sneaker already gives us a little glimpse of the "future".
Not only is the release date of the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 already out, but also the most remarkable details are now available and we absolutely have to take a look at them.
1. Bounce Feeling
The Nike Adapt BB 2.0 shows little inspirations from other Nike sneakers. The players wanted a more improved jump with this futuristic sneaker. Therefore, Nike added an Air Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot. We already know this unit from the Kyrie line.
2. Raised Midsole
Athletes though that nothing should stand between the harmony of the jump and the engine. That is why the designers implemented a higher midsole for this model. This also improves the transition from heel to toe box.
3. Easier to Put On
Some Flyknit inserts have been removed, the collar is opened wider, and the mesh totally complements the new design. With these updates, Nike makes it easier to put on the sneakers.
4. Visual Updates
Probably the biggest visual update is the larger Swoosh on the midfoot. If you take a closer look, you can see the pixelated details. This makes the shoe look even more futuristic.
5. First Contact with the Nike Adapt BB 2.0
Yes Morant from the Memphis Grizzlies was the first player to wear the sneakers. He debuted them on the court on January 20th against the New Orleans Pelicans. A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces will be using the same sneakers at the beginning of the regular WNBA season.
Do not miss the release of the Nike Adapt BB 2.0.
These are some of the updates that the 2.0 offers. The price of the sneakers will certainly be in the higher range. But, that will probably not be an issue for most people. The release date is set on February 15th.
