A First Glimpse of the adidas 4D 1.0

Back in 2017 when adidas' Futurecraft 4D was first launched, Time Magazine dubbed it as possibly one of the greatest innovations of the year. The shoe was crafted by Carbon, a company based in Silicon Valley. The shoe boasts of a kickass midsole formed through digital light synthesis, a process that uses light in order to shape a liquid resin with elastic qualities and then heat to allow the form to set. After two years of continuous research, we know have our first look of the all-new 4D midsole.

The 4D 1.0 is made with black and grey Primeknit material resembling the SPEEDFACTORY collection. The shoe comes with a toe box that has purple taping and also has the iconic Three Stripes for its branding. The back portion features a heel counter in white and pretty much looks like the spoiler of a car.

The midsole comes with the latest Futurecraft 4D technology and is done in the "Aero Green" colour that fans love. The outsole, on the other hand, is made with continental rubber, providing the right amount of comfort, grip, ease, and recovery for the wearer.
