adidas Superstar + adidas Stan Smith = adidas Superstan

Wouldn’t you want to combine your two best sneakers and melt them into a whole new silhouette? Or, are you crazy enough to wear two different shoes? In any case, a sports giant is already making this decision for us. The adidas Stan Smith and the adidas Superstar are among the classics in the adidas portfolio. Both silhouettes have existed for what feels like half an eternity. So, why not give it a try and combine the two icons?

Both silhouettes went on the table and merged into an entirely new sneaker. Thus, the adidas Superstan is born. The new shape uses the same DNA and core features of both silhouettes. Stan Smith can be recognized by the minimal upper and the classic green/white lines. On the other hand, the Superstar shows itself further ahead through its sturdy toe cap.

To celebrate this new edition, adidas is producing a short film together with Stan Smith in his Florida hometown. Admittedly, a few pictures made us laugh. The tennis legend certainly presents his legacy in a very unique way.

adidas has already put the sneakers on its release calendar. The adidas Superstan will be released on February 1st.
