Beaverton Presents the Nike Air Max 97 "Newspaper"

This new Air Jordan 1 reminds us of how many times Michael Jordan has made the headlines throughout his career. Now, it this model comes with a unique colourway that will most probably get all sneakerheads excited for its release. This latest version from Nike wraps the Air Max 97 "Newspaper" in what appears to be just that--newspaper.

The shoe's "color scheme" is quite simple, actually. Almost every element is covered in newsprint. Beaverton does this painstakingly and even manages to incorporate vivid colours in the iteration. The colourless prints are mostly found on the mudguard as well as on some of the upward facing layers.

The white base layer stands out among the rest of the colourless pictures and black lettering. A black/red heel tab as well as a black insole and a red Sunburst Nike logo complete the overall design.
