Coming Soon: Mark Gonzales x adidas Skateboarding Aloha Super "Black/Purple"

Mark Andrew Gonzales is an influential skateboarder and artist. In the scene, they call him The Gonz and he is a pioneer of street skating. His artistic performances on the skateboard are no doubt inspiring for many.

adidas Skateboarding has now introduced a third colourway with Mark Gonzales. The duo was inspired by the fencing suit that Mark Gonzales showed at a historic performance in New York City back in 2018.

High-quality materials cover the sneakers. A soft and dark suede leather particularly covers most of the Mark Gonzales x adidas Skateboarding Aloha Super "Black/Purple". This includes the mudguard, toe box, heel, and the Three Stripes. The other parts like the collar and the eyestays are made of full-grain leather.

The colourful hits are provided by the Shmoofoil logo of Gonzales and adidas as well as the embroidered initials of Mark Gonzales on the heel. Solid black nylon laces tie up the sneakers, while the adiPRENE insole cushions every shock and increases comfort. Further down is a semi-transparent midsole and outsole. The sticky rubber adheres to your board so you don't lose grip.

Up to now, the sneakers have never been seen on any release calendar yet. But, insiders expect a release on February 22nd at the adidas shop.
