In 2020, adidas and IRAK reunited for the first time in twelve years to commemorate their legendary collaboration in the late 1980s. It would then take another two years for them to join hands again, this time on the popular Samba.
Fortunately, the pair's next release was not far away, appearing just a few months after its indoor predecessor. The upcoming IRAK x adidas Supernova Cushion 7 falls somewhere between the Samba and the ZX 8000 in terms of colourway and is dressed in mostly neutral colours.
Along with the midsole and leather trims, the mesh inserts are a bright white and contrast with the black of the adjacent stripes, patent leather eyelets, textile collar, and textured toe cap. The inner lining, the lower heel, and the "IRAK" branding bring a bit more colour into play, namely a bright orange, green, and yellow, respectively.
