Nike Air Force 1 "Lakers" Dresses For NBA Diamond Anniversary

It looks like Nike is currently working on numerous gifts for the 75th NBA Diamond Anniversary. In addition to a set of Nike Dunk Lows, this Air Force 1 in LA Lakers colours is also set to drop. Check out the first images of the upcoming sneaker planned for this year here.
The new sneaker is a direct homage to both the past and present with light blue and purple representing the Los Angeles basketball team. A soft blue alludes to the '40s and '50s. It is used on the eyestays, lining, heels, and outsoles.
Purple then covers only a few parts like the mid panels, the Swooshes, or the outline above the white Air sole. Much more noticeable, however, are the "75th" labels on the tongues and a Lakers logo on the heels.

Insiders share the first look of the Nike Air Force 1 "Lakers" on Twitter. Unfortunately, there is no confirmed date for the sneakers yet, but we can supposedly expect a drop of the Dunks in the fall.
