Nike Air Max 97 with Script Lace Lock

Not only is the Nike Air Force 1 re-released almost weekly, but so is the Nike Air Max 97, whose iconic shape includes the wavy overlays and the voluminous Air unit. Since the retro trend is currently in full swing, the Swoosh decides to go for another version with retro-inspired vibes. A colour palette of neon green, purple, and yellow give us a little throwback and round off the overall design with gold details.

The mudguard remains a classic white with a black outsole underneath. In the pictures, we can see that even the Air unit colour changes slightly to blue. But, the theme is fully played out on the chaotic upper. A pink mesh base contrasts with gold and green overlays. Yellow and pink details on the white tongue lead to the metallic script lace lock. Can it get any weirder than that?

Even though this is a really crazy colourway, we could very well imagine wearing the sneakers in spring. Summery and bright colours are simply part of the warm season. The release date is still unclear, unfortunately. But, we will stay on it and keep you up to date.
