Nike is cleaning up! The Nike Air Max 97 "Nintendo" came out a few months ago and thanks to its unique details, it has a fresh new colourway.

With the new year, the brand with the Swoosh celebrates this special tribute to Nintendo with an incredibly affordable price. Previously, the edition used to cost £145. Now, the sneaker’s price has been reduced to £101! If you are still quite unsure, you should take a look at the sneakers first. You have an unbelievable 60 days right to return at Nike.

Watch out, console fanatics! The Beaverton-based brand Nike introduces their next Air Max 97 project. Inspired by Nintendo's third worldwide release of their timeless gaming console, a Nike Air Max 97 "Nintendo 64" is now on its way.

The shoe’s colourway certainly brings back a lot of childhood memories. Very similar to the controller, it comes mainly in a light grey colour and blue/green/red piping to remind you of the buttons (green and blue for the “A” and “B” buttons and red for the “Start” button). The upper comes in a combination of mesh and leather overlays. The sole’s yellow air unit reminds us of the “C” buttons while the grey/silver mudguard with small triangles represents the controller’s main buttons. Further details that are also hard to miss are the "Power" and "Reset" tags on the tongue, a red Swoosh on the side, an ESRB rating logo on the insoles, and an Air Max lettering on the heel done in N64 style.

You’ll definitely get a wave of pure nostalgia with the new Nike AM97! This is a definite must-have for all gaming console users and collectors, so go ahead and treat yourselves!
