Game of Thrones x adidas Ultra Boost White Walker

The immensely hyped collaboration between adidas and the anime series "Dragon Ball Z" is barely over when the Herzogenaurach-based company has once again come up with an even bigger collab. This time, the brand’s partner is the successful HBO series "Game of Thrones". The last season of the hyped series will start in April 2019. While fans are waiting impatiently for the finale of the epic series, adidas wants to sweeten the wait with some new releases.

A total of six different Ultra Boost releases will be available in this collab. The six different colourways each represent one of the major houses of the series. In addition, each shoe comes with a tag on the heel, which carries a slogan that represents the respective house in the series.

The White Walkers are undead creatures from the north who have only one thing in mind: destruction. As the name suggests, the walkers are mainly white or ice-blue due to their icy habitat.

Therefore, the Ultra Boost is primarily dressed in white Primeknit with some "icy" accents like the cage. The obligatory tag on the heel reads, "Winter is here”, which is an allusion to the most famous line in the series, “Winter is coming”, the one that Ned Stark utters in the first season. We wonder if he was referring to the vicious creatures? Probably not.
