The Beaverton-based brand's commitment to sustainability in its products has resulted in some massive changes in 2020. While Nike has always been committed to using leftover materials, this year's sneaker recycling was taken to a whole new level.

Nike Air Force 1 Crater White Release Info

Nike's Space Hippie collection was released last month and launched its initiative on more sustainable products with a series of four sneakers made entirely from left-over materials. The collection introduced some exciting new technologies like the Crater Foam, a blend of Nike cushioning foams that are ground and encapsulated in rubber.

Now, the Nike Crater Foam and several other recycled materials are appearing in the Swoosh arsenal. This latest addition to the already growing Crater collection adds a full-length Crater Foam sole, recycled rubber toe box, and Flyleather upper to the Air Force 1.
