The Nike Air Max 97 has come a long way in recent years, and it's slowly making its way into the mainstream. For many fans, the silhouette is also one of the best ones in the sneaker game. Perhaps it's the wavy overlays that are a big part of its appeal.

Soon, the Nike Air Max 97 will get a major makeover for a premium look. That's what the official images of these two Nike Air Max 97 LXs have confirmed to us. They both revel in a classy suede construction, dipped in either pink or cream. What's more, the upper has been heavily modified.

At the top, the layered upper is replaced with a braided upper that completely wraps around the foot. In between, a white strand is woven in, exposing small windows between the stripes and creating a cut-out effect.

There's no confirmed release date for the new Nike Air Max 97 LX yet, but with the official images revealed, the drop should be coming soon.
