Stylish Nike Air Max 97 with a Gold Upper
The first Nike Air Max 97 was released 25 years ago, and to this day, it's hard to imagine the sneaker game without the silhouette. The design is as avant-garde as it gets, and new colour concepts keep pushing the silhouette forward. Here, the AM97 is reminiscent of the OG sneaker, but the metallic finish is different.
The influence of Japanese bullet trains was so strong that its first colourway was quickly known as the Silver Bullet. Here, however, the Nike Air Max 97 "Metallic Gold" looks much more sophisticated, as a shiny gold covers the wavy upper. The surrounding mesh stripes and Nike logos are also in the same colour.
The tongues, linings, and soles shouldn't deviate too much from the titular paint job, but the deep black provides a lot of contrast on the Nike Air Max 97 "Metallic Gold". The same goes for the rear details and Air units.
