Yoda from Star Wars Gets His Own Adidas NMD R1

The Star Wars x adidas collection seems to be a lot bigger than expected. Meanwhile, we've already seen Nite Joggers featuring characters from Star Wars, an Ultra Boost, and a big pack of different silhouettes inspired by the lightsabers from Star Wars. This time, adidas is giving us a new adidas NMD R1 made in Yoda’s name.

Currently, there are a lot of sneakers being released by Star Wars and adidas. This is probably because the new movie from "Star Wars: Skywalker's Ascent", is about to be released on December 19th. The Star Wars x adidas NMD R1 "Yoda" honours the legendary Jedi master who originally trained Luke Skywalker. The colourway will be designed accordingly to represent Yoda himself. For starters, the sneaker comes in a predominantly black colour. In addition, neon green accents appear on the Boost sole, while the heel tab and tongue ultimately remind of this important character from the beloved film franchise.

The main feature of the shoe is the green line that is most probably inspired by Yoda's lightsaber. The stripe draws from the tongue, comes out under the laces and ends at the tip of the toe. The famous quote, "Do or do not. There is no try" by Yoda can also be seen and rounds off the overall look of this remarkable homage.
