Last year, the Air Max 1 by Tinker Hatfield turned 35 years old. We are seeing more and more Air Max 1 releases this year and it will probably continue. Let's take a look at the Air Max 1 "Athletic Department" together.
White, Black Forest, Neutral Grey and Varsity Maize are used on this iteration of the Air Max 1. White mesh is used as the base. On top of that we see grey suede overlays, black nubuck mudguards, a leather Swoosh and a nylon-like material on the collar. The sneaker is accentuated with Varsity Maize eyelets, tongue logo, insole and part of the outsole. On the heel we also see a golden Nike Air logo and the "Athletic Department" lettering on the insole.
The Nike Air Max 1 "Athletic Department" is set to release soon at Nike and select retailers.
