The year 2020 feels better every day from a sneaker perspective. After the 30th anniversary silhouette was released in some classic iterations, the ‘90s sneaker now borrows the vibes from an old classic. The Nike Air Max 90 "Violent Blend" reminds us of the Nike Kobe 7 "Christmas" from 2011.
Nike itself hasn't said anything about the colourway yet, but the resemblance is definitely there. The colours as well as the animal patterns seem to come from the same shelf. The panelled "Violent Blend" varnishes most of it, while the black elements are made of pony hair.
The mudguard also has an animal-skin design. The crocodile pattern gives it a wild look, and the yellow hits on the eyelets and the red laces complete the colourway.
When Is the Nike Air Max 90 "Violent Blend" Supposed to Drop?
Nike has not announced a release date yet, but the sneakers will supposedly drop at selected retailers on August 15th.
