Kanye West Will Soon Create His Yeezy Samples in Wyoming
Just two months ago, Zane Lowe reported in an interview with Kanye West on Beats 1 Radio that he will probably bring the production of his Yeezy line to the USA. This move reflects how much Ye wants to help and support the American economy. In addition, the production in the USA affords him the possibility of having better control of the process and speeding up the production of the prototypes.
According to American newspaper Cody Enterprise in Cody, Wyoming, Kanye West plans to implement this in the near future.
Allegedly, this process is already well underway. The members of the Cody building authority purportedly discussed a site plan on December 16th and examined a proposal for the construction. The proposal is for an adidas Yeezy Cody Sample Lab to be built there very soon. Kanye's Yeezy HQ has already been moved from California to Cody.
Probably there could be even more surprises in the future. Forbes reported in the summer that the Yeezy line is expected to reach sales of 1.5 billion in 2019. That would be half of Jordan Brand's. With the recently announced move of Jon Wexler, who brought Kanye from Nike to adidas, sales could be a lot higher in 2020.
