The multi-layered look accentuates with shades of grey, beige and white and makes up the largest part. In addition, the Air Max 90 has mixed materials and bright green hits on the toe box, heel and midfoot, with the branding on the sneaker also having the strong colour tone.

The resemblance to the previous model can also be seen in the upper lace lock. The element is transparent and is rarely used. The more robust look is complemented by pull-tabs on the tongue and heel and a vintage-inspired outsole completes the overall design.
