Upcoming Nike Air Max 1 "Safari" Reminiscent of 2002's atmos Collaboration

Nike's Safari print has been used in many different ways, but only few versions come close to the legendary atmos x Nike Air Max 1 "Safari" from 2002. With the latest AM1, however, Nike comes closer to the sneaker, as the hits and pattern are very reminiscent of the Grail.

The colour palette of the latest Nike Air Max 1 "Safari" is much brighter and more in tune with the spring/summer season. Based on the retailer's classic, the sneaker has a high-quality construction made of suede and other textiles. Added to this is the striking safari print on the collar and mudguard.

The upper is then predominantly in "Cobblestone", while the laces and mini Swooshes provide a yellow contrast. In addition, the Nike Air Max 1 "Safari" has blue Swooshes and Nike branding on the tongues. On the bottom, the midsoles and outsoles are then finished with a cream-coloured paint.

Originally, it was assumed that the Nike Air Max 1 "Safari" would be released on Air Max Day 2022, as the official images had already been released a day before. However, the sneakers will actually drop in the next few days. We'll keep an eye on the release and let you know if there are any updates.
