In addition to the upcoming Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Foamposite One, which was unveiled this week, the CDG fashion label is said to be holding back another project. More specifically, images of a collaborative New Balance 57/40 have just been released.
Fashion designer Rei Kawakubo behind Comme des Garçons is said to be dropping a new model with New Balance, which is part of Comme des Garçons Homme Plus Autumn/Winter 2021 collection. Keeping the signature aesthetic from the Japanese label, the 57/40 gets a tonal black colourway.
The model is crafted from ripstop nylon and weatherproof Gore-Tex materials are among the overlays, while CdGH and New Balance branding adorn the tongue labels. Other features include double midsoles and colour-matched laces.
