Latest Pickup: Nike Air Max Plus TN III "Hyper Blue"
The Nike Air Max Plus TN III hasn’t had a new edition in a long time. Originally, the futuristic Nike sneaker was released around the turn of the millennium. The new shape and the sporty design already reminded everyone at that time of the different possibilities, which would most likely drop in the near future.
One of the few models that will be out on the market this year is a Nike OG colourway in Hyper Blue. The trendy aesthetic of the Nike Air Max Plus TN III, which still looks pretty fresh after several years, fits perfectly into Nike's inclination for reviving classic silhouettes, as does the late ’90s Air Max Tailwind IV.
Style
The style and look of this new iteration are as modern as the silhouette itself. 21 years ago, the Air Max Plus series featured the transparent colour gradients on the upper. The 2019 model revives the cool blue colour gradients and appears on the entire grid base. Beaverton's primary features are definitely present in this new edition. A small yellow Swoosh is embedded right on the side walls, while the remaining accents dominate the entirety of the sneaker.
The second prominent colour of the shoe is a deep black, which mostly wraps the entire upper. The mudguard and collar come in matching black leather, while the rest of the shoe shines in black further down the signature plastic cage and is decorated with rubberized blue details.
The branded TN logo comes in several shapes and on different inserts. The side heels, tongue, insole, and outsole have the classic yellow TN logo. “TUNED AIR” lettering also appears under the toe cap, heel, and again on the outsole.
Technical Details
The TN logos do not appear several times all over the sneaker for no reason. At the bottom part, the Air Max cushioning system is divided into two small Air units in the forefoot area and a large Air unit in the heel.
Black rubberised inserts provide the shoe a better grip, while the mesh upper takes care of breathability and the black grain leather that emits elegance rounds off the overall look.
