Nike Debuts an Air Force 1 "Drew League"

Basketball is not just a sport for many people—it is their life. The Drew League is a popular league in Los Angeles. Alvin Wills founded the Drew League over 45 years ago with 6 teams. At that time, Alvin wanted to help young men and women by giving them basketball lessons to learn for life.

Since 1973, the Drew League has been bringing together young people in South Central LA to build a strong relationship in basketball. For Nike, this is definitely worth a special tribute.

The Nike Air Force 1 is dressed in the usual white and takes off with a high-quality leather. But, in return, the brand replaces its typical branding. On the insole and on the tongue tag, the usual Swoosh branding is missing. Instead, we see more Drew League brandings. Another Drew League logo on the ankle completes the entire homage.
