A Nike LeBron 17 "Space Jam" Pack Could Drop Soon

The NBA All-Star Game 2020 is getting closer and closer and the leaks from more anticipated sneakers are getting hotter and hotter. While we have already seen the official pictures of the Nike LeBron 17 "Monstars", we now take a look at the second possible part of the Space Jam 2 pack.

Currently we have pictures of the Nike LeBron 17 Low "Toon Squad". A few days ago, it was assumed that the sneakers would also be a high-cut model. But, insiders are sure that the second model is a low-cut one and the colourway is a perfect counterpart to the Nike LeBron 17 "Monstars".

The upper material is white with strong contrasting blue and red hits. The highlights are the Swooshes on the sides and the interior. The red Swoosh is covered with grey fur that reminds us of Bugs Bunny. Furthermore, the sole shows a playful blue/red Tune Squad print and the inside of the tongue says, "What's up Doc?"

The Nike LeBron 17 "Monstars" will be released on February 14th. However, the release date of the Nike LeBron 17 Low "Toon Squad" has not been determined yet. Rumour has it that it will drop shortly after the "Monstars".

Currently, the official pictures of Nike keep reaching us every minute. Two days ago, we all got to see two sneakers of LeBron James, who is in fact Michael Jordan's successor in the new Space Jam movie. This is in fact not LeBron’s first time to appear on the big screen, as he had already previously starred in the film Trainwreck with Amy Schumer. Space Jam 2 will be released in summer 2021.

The sneakers of Nike and King James are actually a reference to Space Jam 2, and the colourway reminds us of the opposing team from the movie. The Nike LeBron 17 "Monstars" mixes a purple base with coloured threads that run into the shoe. The tongues are a reference to the players Bupkus (purple) and Pound (orange). A “0" is featured as an embroidery on the tongue’s base, and there’s also a galaxy-like design on the TPU overlays right above the midsole. So far, exact release date is still unavailable. But, we already know that the pair could very well drop in just a few days.

Soon enough, we will see King James not only on the court, but also at the cinemas. The professional basketball player is supposed to be the main character in Space Jam 2 and takes the place of Michael Jordan. Nike is celebrating this big event and rumour has it that they will be releasing a Nike LeBron 17 "Space Jam" pack to celebrate the new film’s release.

The NBA All-Star weekend is definitely going to be great. Jordan Brand is expected to release some sneakers this weekend. But, Nike is also said to have a silhouette ready, the theme of which is obviously, "Space Jam". There are no pictures yet, but we can suspect a Nike LeBron 17 in two colourways: a Nike LeBron 17 "Monstars" and a Nike LeBron 17 "Toon Squad".

Space Jam 2 has been a topic of conversation for some months now. With these possible sneakers, the movie should gain even more popularity. The first part of Space Jam was released in 1996. Twenty-five years later, Space Jam 2 is finally going to be released.
