First Look: Nike LeBron 17 "Red Carpet"
This year, LeBron James will do everything to lead his team to victory. And, the new Nike LeBron 17 "Red Carpet" is just about ready for the Oscars scene. A while back, it was the Nike LeBron 7 that has been able to shine first on the red carpet. This 17th signature sneaker has the same name and inspiration as its predecessor.
This time, however, the styles couldn't be more different! The LeBron 7 model uses black, white, and blue tones and has less red hues, while the Nike LeBron 17 uses only red. The obvious differences with the new "Red Carpet" are the heel area’s visible black threads woven right into the Battleknit upper as well as a serrated collar inspired by a crown.
The unique details are instantly recognisable. Both tongues have the royal lion embroidered on them. The right sneaker still has the number 23 next to the 17, while the left sneaker with "BBZ" alludes to Le Bron’s three children Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri. A red Air unit and a metallic Swoosh on the lateral sides complete the overall design.
