Another Air Force 1 is on Nike's agenda. The Beaverton-based brand always keeps an eye on the basketball icon and makes sure it doesn't lose its cult status. For this new version, Nike continues to focus on the fall season by making sturdier shoes to withstand the cold days and their demands.

Nike is taking the first step by making several Air Force 1 models with a more solid structure and a modified upper. The "Under Construction" line consists of a five-pack Air Force 1 Low and High collection.

Style

Most of you have probably been fearing having to give up your beloved silhouette for the next season and switch to another model with a more stable design. But, luckily, Nike has already thought of this!

The Nike Air Force 1 "Under Construction" White borrows the colours from the classic design and accentuates the shoe with many details reminiscent of construction sites and pylons. Upon closer inspection of the white/grey and black colour scheme with reflective accents, the characteristic detail in the midfoot area comes to the fore. The cut-out Swoosh has a ripstop-like interior fabric and a reflective film that resembles pylons that reflect when light strikes on them.

A bulky "NIKE AIR" lettering written with lines in Under Construction style is printed over it. Nike has gives this lettering a unique design. While the left sneaker has "NIKE AIR" written on it from left to right, the right sneaker features a mirror image of the very same words.

Grey hits are used to provide that much-needed contrast. The tongue consists of a combination of light fabric and mesh as well as a text branding with black/grey stripes done in industrial style. A double mudguard in grey as well as grey heel inserts without the usual Nike air branding and a large heel tab round off the overall design.

Technical Details

The supple leather and the double mudguard make the sneakers essentially durable. Thanks to the breathable tongue and perforated toe box, the Air Force 1 is now made more functional, while the heavy-duty Air sole provides the traditional style and clean look.

On top of all the said features, the padded shoe collar gives the wearer a comfortably soft and lightweight feel.

Conclusion about the Nike Air Force 1 "Under Construction"

Many sneaker fans don't want to do without the clean and classic look. Even if Nike plays with its features and proportions most of the time, their lifestyle sneaker is still immediately recognizable and high in demand. Due to the robust look, they fit perfectly into anyone's wardrobe for autumn and winter and are also a must-have for AF1 lovers.
