The Nike Air Force 1 Borrows the Style of the Air Jordan 6 "Flight Jacket"

Two years ago, an Air Jordan 6 was released, which looked unbelievably ingenious and is still considered one of the top sneakers today. The high-cut Air Jordan 6 comes with an olive green upper, satin overlays, and a quilted base. After that, similar colourways under long-term partner Undefeated dropped such as the Nike Air Max 98, Zoom Fly SP, and Air Max Tailwind IV.

The next Nike member to borrow the military look is the all-time classic Nike Air Force 1 Low. In addition, the new iteration shows some improvements in the materials that you wouldn't otherwise see on the AF1.

The usual smooth leather is traded in for the cloudy olive green satin overlays. Apart from that, the base has a quilted padding reminiscent of the old field jackets from the US Army. The tongues turn the inner side outwards and the Swooshes take on a trendy dual aesthetic while the brown Air sole shows a printed text.
